About Us:
Wonder Cinema is an outdoor cinema and drive-in cinema company company that brings families together to enjoy classic films like The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia, Grease and more. Our cinema locations span across both Wales and England with a growing customer base of 10,000+ ticket holders. We are still a very small company (In our infancy, just below 2 years of operation) and we want someone who can grow with us.

About the Role:​

​

Team Member: Team Members are stewards at our event that will be asked to help with our screen set-up, Ticket Check and assisting the audience with anything they need and set-down procedures to secure everything in our van and ready for the next event​

​

Team Leader: Responsible for site care, team management, setting up and setting down procedures, site liaison, and customer service must be familiar with the events industry and have creative intuition and problem solving skills.

​

Requirements:

• Previous events/stewarding experience is preferred but not needed 

• This is physical work so ideally the candidate would be in good physical health

• Driving license required.

DAYS AND TIMES OF WORK

​

Our Drive-in Cinema operates on the last 2 weeks of every month

All shifts are evenings and are usually 5pm-11:30pm

​

The cinema is being slowly rolled out but here’s how many events you’d be expected to do

10 Evenings every month

​

If you can't do all 10 then don't worry. We are expecting a minimum of 4 each month from the candidate. 

​

There is also extra work available as we tend to get extra bookings from third parties.

​

WHERE WILL WORK BE HELD?

Our Drive-in’s are currently in (You will need to travel)

​

• Newport

• Bridgend

• Blaenavon

• Swansea

• Merthyr

​

But they can be further afield for additional shifts (Optional)

​

PAYMENT

Team Members:

​

16 + 17 year olds: £8 Per Hour

18 - 20 year olds: £11 Per Hour 

21+ year olds: £13 Per Hour 

Subject to increase at anytime- bonuses available, mandatory wage increase of £1 per hour at 6 months(must have done at least 24 events)

​

This role is essential in ensuring our events are a success. If you're self-employed or looking for something part-time and can keep a team organised, manage logistics, and ensure everything runs on schedule, we’d love to have you on board!

Team Leaders:

As of now a team leader role is £16 an hour but is subject to increase or a potential set wage depending on availability and circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!
