About Us:
Wonder Cinema is an outdoor cinema and drive-in cinema company company that brings families together to enjoy classic films like The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia, Grease and more. Our cinema locations span across both Wales and England with a growing customer base of 8000+ ticket holders. We are still a very small company (In our infancy, at year 2) and we want someone who can grow with us.

About the Role:

​

Team Leader: We are looking for a reliable and proactive Team Leader to oversee our Drive-In and Outdoor Cinema events. As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that each event runs smoothly from start to finish, coordinating with our team, and maintaining communication with directors and venue holders. This role involves both on-site management and virtual communications via WhatsApp to keep the team aligned.

Team Leaders will also be asked to drive our company van, ensure all team members are doing their jobs correctly and keep the event management running on time.

​

Team Member: Team Members on the other hand are stewards at our event that will be asked to help with our screen set-up, Ticket Check and assisting the audience with anything they need.​

​

Requirements:

• Proven experience in event management, logistics, or a similar role.

• Ability to work independently and confidently manage a team.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable using WhatsApp for communication and team coordination.

• Ability to handle basic equipment and stock checks (training provided).

• Driving license required.

DAYS AND TIMES OF WORK

​

Our Drive-in Cinema operates on the last 2 weeks of every month

All shifts are evenings and are usually 6pm-11:30pm

​

The cinema is being slowly rolled out but here’s how many events you’d be expected to do

June – 6 Drive-in Events

July – 8 Drive-in Events

August – Summer Festival (Flexible workload, but aim for a minimum of 10 events)

September – 10 Drive-in Events

October – 10 Drive-in Events

November – 10 Drive-in Events

December – 10 Drive-in Events

There is also extra work available as we tend to get extra bookings from third parties.

​

WHERE WILL WORK BE HELD?

Our Drive-in’s are currently in (You will need to travel)

​

• Newport

• Bridgend

• Blaenavon

• Swansea

• Cardiff

​

But they can be further afield

​

PAYMENT

Team Members - £13 per hour

Team Leaders - £18 per hour

In some cases we can pay a percentage of travel costs

​

This role is essential in ensuring our events are a success. If you're self-employed or looking for something part-time and can keep a team organised, manage logistics, and ensure everything runs on schedule, we’d love to have you on board!
